Concealer and foundation go hand in hand in order to achieve a flawless radiant look. Concealer is really your best friend that will erase dark circles and everything else that needs hiding whether you’re a late-night study owl or a ladies-night party princess. The area under the eyes is extremely delicate and the right concealer may be different for every individual.

MadbuzzHK has picked some of our favourite concealers to hide problems of all sorts: whether its redness, blemishes, dark circles or eye bags. With concealers I tend to splurge a little bit more just because good products can really hide and conceal better since the under eye area is very sensitive and delicate. But again, our picks are feature products ranging from high street to high end so it caters to all!

p.s. at the end of the day, you should sleep more if you really want to solve the problem.

Cle de Peau Beaute Concealer
This is honestly one of the most amazing concealers I’ve come across and also probably one of the most expensive, HOWEVER it does it wonders and you only need a really small amount so it works out not too bad – just make the investment all in one go! It’s great for redness, blemishes, eye bags and dark circles with it’s super creamy consistency. I promise you this concealer does not budge and requires minimal reapplication.

Clinique Advanced Concealer
This is for those who have oily skin or prefer the matte look. The texture is very creamy but it dries out to a matte and powdered finish. Also, as I believe with all Clinique products, this is great for those who have sensitive and problematic skin, so if you suffer from rosacea – try it out!

Benefit Fake Up Concealer
If you always find that your concealer sinks into your fine lines under your eyes, be sure to give this a go. This concealer encompasses itself with a hydration balm aimed to defuse this fine lines around your eyes to give a smooth and flawless finish. By keeping the delicate skin around your eyes hydrated, your concealer will stay put for longer.

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
One of my favourite concealers of all time! This medium to full coverage concealer is perfect for those who have deep and dark circles, it will conceal and hide all those sleepless nights. The formula is relatively lightweight and provides a matte finish under the eyes. The only downside to this is the packaging, I find that the pump is hard to control and a single pump is sometimes a bit too much.

A little side note for extra radiance and glow! These products work wonders with your concealer.

NARS Creamy Concealer
Although this is classified as a concealer, I find that this works much better as a highlight under the eyes to give that extra glow and radiance. But if you are lucky enough to not have any dark circles, this would be a great option. Again, the only thing I would say about this is that the packaging is not the best.

YSL Touche Eclat
This gold little pen works wonders if you actually use it properly. It claims to conceals dark circles and highlights your best features. I wouldn’t agree that it conceals dark circles (this may work for relatively light dark circles but definitely not darker ones) but it definitely can highlight your best features! I find that this is more of a highlighting product so put this product on all the high points of your face (where sunlight would naturally hit – e.g. cheekbones, bridge of nose, forehead and cupid’s bow).

I think Wayne Goss demonstrates the proper use of the Touche Eclat perfectly:
